Created in collaboration with the World Bank’s climate change initiative working with ripe, Connect4Climate, ripe was tasked with designing unique graphics to celebrate the Earth Day 2015 events around the National Monument. Inspired by elements from the existing Connect4Climate identity and the event locale, ripe created a unique illustration for a focal theme. The Monumental Tree, as the team has taken to calling it, is the center of a series of print and digital pieces, including posters, flyers, digital banners, and social media graphics that are customized for a series of events. The look was such a hit that it got kudos from quite a few of the celebrity guests for the concert and rally events for the day, including the Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki Moon.
